BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist | ED & Nursery | St. Louis Metro Area
Provide meaningful pediatric care across ED, nursery, and delivery settings with the support of a large pediatric group and the mission-driven culture of SSM Health.

In this role, youll provide pediatric care across designated hospital and program sites, partnering with local teams to deliver timely, thoughtful care to children and families throughout the St. Louis region. Youll also help support SSM Healths caring legacy by practicing within each sites established clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
Hospital Clinical Duties
- Manage pediatric admission, treatment, and discharge in collaboration with attending physicians as appropriate; no long-term inpatient care required
- Evaluate patients, perform appropriate procedures, and respond to Emergency Department requests for pediatric evaluation and treatment
- Attend high-risk deliveries and normal deliveries when requested, based on patient acuity and in-house/ED needs
- Provide nursery coverage for neonates during scheduled shifts and consult with the neonatologist as appropriate
- Respond to pediatric consults and collaborate with APNs and the Program team to ensure timely, appropriate, continuous care
