The Department of Family Medicine has an exciting position to share – we’re seeking a Family Medicine or IM/Peds Physician to care for the beautiful South Hill, VA, community.
About VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital
VCU Health’s Community Memorial Hospital is an 80-bed facility with a wide range of care. It is located near beautiful Lake Gaston – approximately 75 miles south of VCU Health’s main campus in Richmond, VA and 75 miles north of the Raleigh/Durham, NC area.
The current primary service area is around 80,000, covering Mecklenburg, Lunenburg, and Brunswick counties with secondary service area extending into North Carolina.
Family Medicine or IM / Peds
About
Clinical service include:
- seeing patients in the ambulatory clinic setting
- being available to the emergency department and inpatient coverage as needed
- newborn nursery coverage, including being present for c-sections
- newborn care and share on call coverage with team
- maintain clinical competency in Family Medicine or IM/Peds
Qualifications
- Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine & Pediatrics
- MD or DO
