Pediatric Surgery faculty opportunity-Duke Health, Durham NC
Duke Department of Surgery, Division of Pediatric General Surgery is seeking a fellowship trained Pediatric Surgeon at the Assistant, Associate Professor or Professor level to join their faculty.
- Qualified candidates will be board certified in General Surgery, board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Surgery.
- Possess the desire to participate in the activities of the Division, including clinical care, research, and teaching of medical students, surgery residents, and ancillary staff.
- The Division of Pediatric General Surgery performs general and thoracic surgical procedures each year for infants, children and adolescents across a broad spectrum of surgical disease, including multisystem trauma and critical care.
- Special areas of interest of faculty include endocrine diseases, vascular malformations, solid tumors of childhood, extracardiac thoracic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, and neonatal surgery.
Academic rank will be based on training and experience with research and clinical productivity measures used to guide clinical track.
