Neonatology Nurse Practitioner - 1-2 Weeks Per Month in Arkansas

We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing inpatient assignment in Arkansas. This role offers the chance to support a Level III NICU with a manageable patient volume.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient Level III NICU
• 26-bed unit
• Average daily census of 7-10 NICU patients
• Nursery volume typically ranges from 10-15

Schedule

• Ongoing monthly coverage needed
• 24-hour shifts (8a-8a)
• Rotating schedule including weekends still available
• Only 1-2 weeks of coverage required per month

Procedures and Cases

• Daily critical care management
• Delivery room attendance and neonatal resuscitation
• Proficiency in all critical care skills required
• Occasional transport assistance

Requirements

• Active Arkansas license required
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification
• Minimum 12 months of experience
• Current PALS and NRP certifications

Credentialing Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible within 5 years
• 120-day credentialing timeframe
• Full credentialing support provided
