Chief, Division of Pediatric Dentistry: Cohen Children’s Medical Center

Northwell Health is seeking a new Chief, Pediatric Dentistry at Cohen Children’s Medical Center. This exciting position offers the opportunity to lead a long-standing, hospital-based pediatric dental medicine program to new heights, in conjunction with the chair and senior vice president for Dental Medicine.  


  • D.S or D.M.D. from an accredited College of Dentistry
  • Completion of residency and Board certification in Pediatric Dentistry
  • Currently licensed dentist in the State of New York
  • Outstanding communication and management skills and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, hospital management, attendings and residents.
  • Previous division, department, or pediatric residency program leadership; hospital-based academic pediatric dental medicine experience preferred
  • Must possess recent experience in generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques

The Division of Pediatric Dentistry

Northwell Health Department of Dental Medicine is a premier clinical and academic department comprised of hospital-based faculty and a growing network of community providers and multidisciplinary oral health professionals. As we continue to grow and expand, the Division of Pediatric Dentistry at Cohen Children’s Medical Center is seeking a pediatric dentist to raise the standard for pediatric dental medicine and education.  The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellence in leadership experience in all aspects of pediatric dentistry appropriate for an academic tertiary care level. The position is based at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY.
