The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Doernbecher Children's Hospital, Oregon's premier pediatric academic medical center, is seeking a Pediatric Electrophysiologist to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to practice advanced pediatric cardiac electrophysiology in a collaborative, multidisciplinary, academic environment. The ideal candidate will be clinically skilled in both non-invasive and invasive electrophysiology, including electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, device implantation and management, and inherited arrhythmia syndromes. They will also contribute to education, research, and program development in electrophysiology, advancing arrhythmia care for children and young adults in the Pacific Northwest. The successful candidate will be working in a team with Dr. Seshadri Balaji, senior electrophysiologist and past president of Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society (PACES). Clinical Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited pediatric cardiology fellowship.
- Additional fellowship training in pediatric electrophysiology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Electrophysiology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Oregon.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in catheter ablation, advanced device management, 3D mapping systems, and genetic arrhythmia syndromes.
- Academic track record with publications or contributions to clinical research.
